LUPE Arte presents Leadership and Art Careers Seminar 2010

The L.U.P.E. Arte project Niños y Arte is a collaborative effort among AISD, business partners, and community leaders to provide positive after school programming to at-risk youth. The mission of the program inverts urban youth from gang activities by providing students with hands-on application of cultural art knowledge gained in their participation in course projects.
This project is funded and supported in part by the City of Austin through the Cultural Arts Division and by a grant from the Texas Commission on the Arts and an award from the National Endowment for the Arts, which believes that a great nation deserves great art.
